If you send us requests for details via the contact form, the information that you have supplied in the corresponding request form, including the contact details that you have indicated there, will be recorded in our CRM system in order to process the request and in case of additional queries. Subsequent processing is performed internally. The data will only be processed within the EU and will not be transferred to any third country. If a contractual agreement is signed between you and us, we will store your data for the legally stipulated duration. If that is not the case, your data will be deleted or anonymised after 13 months.

7. Web analysis using Google Analytics

The Web sites of the GROUP also utilise Google Analytics, a Web analysis service provided by Google Inc. https://www.google.com/intl/fr/about/ (hereinafter “Google”).

In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies are utilised (see II Cookies policy). The information generated by the cookies, concerning your use of our Internet sites, is transferred to one of the servers of Google in the United States for storage.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by choosing the appropriate setting in your browser (see II Cookies policy).

You can download and install a browser add-on, in order to prevent Google from recording information generated by cookies, concerning your use of our Internet site: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=fr

For more information about the protection of data pertaining to Google Analytics, consult the Google Analytics help page: https://support.google.com/analytics/?hl=fr#topic=3544906

The embedding of Google services occasionally enables Google to collect and process information (including personal data). We are unable to control what information is collected and processed by Google. On this subject, consult the Google privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=fr-CA

To obtain advice on Google privacy settings, consult the page https://privacy.google.com/intl/fr/take-control.html

8. Server log files

The provider of the pages (see details on the hosts of the sites of the GROUP in item III.4.) automatically gathers and stores information in log files on the server, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information includes: name of the Web site consulted, file, date and time of access, quantity of data transferred, notification of successful log-in, type and version of browser, user’s operating system, reference URL (the page visited beforehand), IP address and requesting provider.

These data cannot be assigned to specific persons. These data are not merged with other sources of data. The provider utilises the protocol data solely for statistical evaluations for the purposes of operating, making secure, and optimising the offering. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data subsequently if there is any justified suspicion of illegal utilisation on the basis of specific indications.

The protocol data are deleted once there is no longer any legal obligation.

9. Contact form and newsletter

If you wish to ask us a question or receive a newsletter offered on any of our sites, you must use the contact form and therefore provide us with an e-mail address. Surname and telephone no. are useful to us for getting directly in touch with you if there are any important comments. Those could be about the quality of our meals, for example.

To receive our newsletter for marketing purposes, via any of our sites that offer this service, you must additionally check the consent box that you will find at the bottom of your newsletter sign-up form.

You can withdraw your consent concerning the recording of data and your e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, via the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.

10. Application form for any of our job advertisements

If you wish to apply for a job advertised on the site, you must use the contact form available under the “Job” header on any of our sites that offer this service. This form will appear when you click on “Apply” below the published job advertisements. You must then provide us with your e-mail address, your first name and surname and your telephone number. You also have the possibility to send us your CV via this channel. These data will be stored for the duration required for the relevant data processing.

11. SSL encryption

Some sites of the GROUP utilise SSL encryption for reasons of security and to protect the transmission of private information, in particular the requests that you send us. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address bar switches from “http://” to “https://” and is indicated by the padlock symbol on your browser.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

12. Embedding of third-party services and content

It may be that third-party content, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, links to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn etc., RSS feeds or graphics from other Web site, is embedded in our online offerings. This always assumes that the providers of this information (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) know the IP address of the users, since without the IP address, they would not be able to send the information provided by each of the users to the browser.

The IP address is therefore necessary for displaying this information. We endeavour to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely in order to deliver information. However, in the event that third-party providers record the IP address, for statistical purposes for example, we have no possibility to take any action. If we are aware of it, we will inform users about it.

13. Cancellation, amendments, corrections and updates

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU, the person concerned has, as concerns the relevant data:

  • Right to information,
  • Right to rectification or deletion,
  • Right to restriction of processing,
  • Right to oppose processing,
  • Right to data transferability.

You also have the right to issue a complaint to a Data Protection Control Authority concerning the processing of your personal data.

Requests for information concerning the protection of data can be sent to us via e-mail at gdpr@cocottes.lu.
